I would very much doubt that there’s an artist out there that is more loved, cherished and revered by Music Artists, Producers and DJ’s than Kate Bush.

As well as her adoring fans, she really is a musician’s musician.

For Kate is the artist that many artist’s wished they had been given the musical freedom and expression to be.

She’s unique. She doesn’t conform.
She has the total freedom to start with a blank canvas – not follow any rules or trends.

Her song ‘The Man with the Child in his Eyes’ was written when she was just 13 year old. She was the First Female Artist in History to have a Number One Record with a self-penned song (‘Wuthering Heights’) and she’s responsible for writing the most beautiful song ever (‘Moments of Pleasure’). OK, that last one is my opinion anyway.

But still, even today, with over 40 years in the music business, she remains a breath of fresh air.

Genius is a word that is sadly so overused nowadays. As is the word Legend.

But Kate Bush is both of those in every sense of the words. And some.
